By Ryan – professional bio-licousness!

Ryan is a film, video, and motion picture editor in New York City with a strong creative sensibility and converse penchant for numbers and “cold-hard facts”.  He is detail-oriented and driven, and believes in both the beauty and the business of independent filmmaking.  His experiences range from an early stint in studio-level motion-picture development Cary Brokaw’s AVENUE PICTURES (known for films such as WIT, ANGELS IN AMERICA, and THE PLAYER) to producing and editing a variety of low-budget films and other projects under the Tandem Arts banner.  As a commercial, television, motion picture, editor and graphic designer, Ryan has served a bevy of clients, including: TRAVEL THE ROAD, MGM, WARNER BROTHERS, NEW LINE CINEMA, FOX TV, TV LAND, YAHOO!, UNILEVER (AXE), MGA (The BRATZ), MATTEL, OXYGEN, DISCOVERY, W.E., FX, YAMAHA, and TURNING POINT PRODUCTIONS.

Given the range of big and small budget projects to which he has lent his skills, as well as the entrepreneurial demands of founding a company, Ryan knows how to wear multiple hats and both stretch dollars and cut corners.

Having worked in Hollywood for over seven years, Ryan has witnessed firsthand the power of cinema to affect and transform culture, and believes the simplest stories are the most profound.  While he grew up in Virginia, Ryan has strong roots and extensive connections in Tulsa as a result of spending four years at Oral Roberts University.  He  holds a B.S. from ORU  and completed the Los Angeles Film Studies Center program upon moving to Hollywood in 2001.  Ryan and Gillian just moved from LA to NYC, in 2010, where they remain committed to building careers in the entertainment industry and to spending more time with their extended families.
