The blog is also about how he’s using Web 2.0 in a great way to utilize his community. It seems to me like a perfect example of where social media is taking artistic endeavours. Hold on for the ride!
A movie opens today that should have all U2 fans who didn’t get to see the Vertigo Tour really excited. It is U2-3D and it’s now playing at a theater near you!
Can you believe it? A 3D movie of a live concert. I wonder which city? Perhaps several. I was at the Vancouver concert in 2005. It really was amazing. In fact, I think I might just consider going to the 3D movie just to re-live the experience. I guess that’s what they’re banking on. Weird.
Is it a name? A location? Or just a really great excuse to get out of your apartment?
When we went to see OtR the other night, we were pleasantly surprised by a phenomenal opener – Griffin House. He expertly controlled the crowd all by his lonesome with a guitar, executed a fabulous cover of Johnny Cash, and wowed us all with his musical and performance prowess. Check him out!

Our FAVOURITE band, Over the Rhine, just came out with a new ALL-bum (as Ryan likes to say) called “The Trumpet Child” and it’s fabulous. Simply fabulous. Read those reviews!
In fact, we saw them tonight in concert at The Knitting Factory, in Hollywood. They were so scrumptiously good that I cried. Literally, tears of appreciation and joy were flowing down my cheeks. Tears!
