California Desert

On Sunday, after stopping at Peet’s for Latte Macchiatos and Corner Bakery for sandwiches, soup, and salad, we drove North. Through Angeles Forest along the Big Tujunga Cyn Rd which becomes Angeles Forest Hwy.

Through Hidden Springs which comes before Singing Springs, we drove. We passed Mt Emma before hitting Vincent, CA and hopping onto the 14.

It had been my plan to take the 14 back to the 5, but it was such a pretty day and we were having such a good time, I took us further. The 138 hits the 14 and then swings West. We followed the 138 to Pine Cyn Rd which took us through Three Points, CA and Lake Hughes, CA where we found a 20-acre ranch for sale.

Quail Run

We hopped on Lake Hughes Rd which carried us to Castaic Lake.

…and a very congested I-5.

All in all it was a fun day and a beautiful drive. I highly recommend the route.

The first picture is from the 138 before we turned South to Three Points.

Happy driving!
